RESERVATION, CANCELLATION and DEPOSIT INFORMATION
CHECK-IN: after 4 pm.
CHECK-OUT: before 10 am
PAYMENT: Your outstanding balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. The preferred method is by check made out and mailed Cedaroma Lodge. If you choose to pay with a credit card, a 3.45% fee will be added on to your folio.
OUR RESERVATION POLICY: is intended to be fair with our guests and also protect our business. When you reserve a unit and place a deposit with us, we remove that unit from the market and refuse other requests for it. For that reason, a non-refundable $100 deposit at point of reservation. The balance of the 25% deposit should be paid by check within 30 days of making your reservation. The account balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival. If you are making reservations after the due date for the full payment, your deposit will be equal to the full payment, regardless of the number of days staying. Special promotions that are nonrefundable are paid in full at point of reservation. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Personal Checks, Venmo and Cash for payment. All reservations require a valid credit card on file.
CABIN SELECTION: We make every effort to keep you in the cabin you reserved, however, sometimes we have to make changes. Visitors of a week or more have cabin selection priority. We reserve the right to change cabins for those staying less than 7 days. We guarantee if you have reserved a two bedroom you will get at least a 2 bedroom unit. We will relocate those who are traveling comp first followed by those staying the least amount of nights and discounted. You will be notified of the change by email a few days prior to arrival.
PET POLICY: For the comfort and safety of our guests: there are NO PETS in cottages 1-4 and 7 during peak summer dates. Cabins 5 and 6 and Main Lodge Home 8, FarmHouse 9, Lake Home 10 and LogHome 11 allow pets year round. Pets are restricted from the beach area between cabins 1 & 4. Pets may enjoy lake access to the east of Cabin 4, at the brown dock. Please do not surprise us by bringing an unannounced pet. Your pet may be refused access to the property. Responsible pet owners let us know ahead of time when traveling with a pet. We are glad to supply bags for you to clean up after your dog. We are not glad if we have to clean up after your dog. New in 2017 is year round pet access in Cabin 6. Outside the summer months pets are allowed in the lakeside cabins. Pets are allowed in all cabins from the last week of August until the second week of June.
SMOKING: is never allowed inside any of the cabins. There is an additional $200 fee if this rule is ignored. If you smoke please be neat about it, no butts on the grounds. You will be charged $100 extra if we have to pick up cigarette butts after you. Please also be considerate of your neighbors. We may ban smoking on the property if we have smoking complaints. This policy is changed since we took ownership and is more liberal, however, if smokers are disrespectful of others and the property, we will have to change back to no smoking on the grounds at all.
CANCELLATION POLICY: All cancellations (Cabin and Boat rentals) incur a $100 cancellation fee except as noted below
FEE FREE CANCELLATIONS: If you cancel within 48 hours of making your reservation, there is no cancellation fee unless you are booking less than 48 hours to arrival, then the stay is paid in full and non-refundable.
CANCELLATION POLICY (SUMMER): If 60 days or more notice is provided we will return your 25% deposit less the $100 cancellation fee. If your notice is less than 60 days but more than 30 days from your scheduled arrival, you will forfeit your deposit. If your cancellation is less than 30 days from your scheduled arrival your balance is due in full.
ANNUAL RESERVATIONS HELD WITH $100: If you let us know you are not taking the cabin prior to the date the next payment is due (December 1st) the cancellation fee is waived.
CANCELLATION POLICY (SPRING, FALL and WINTER): If 30 days’ notice is provided we will return your deposit less a $100 cancellation fee. If your notice is less than 30 days but more than 14 days from your scheduled arrival, you will forfeit your deposit. If your cancellation is less than 14 days from your scheduled arrival your balance is due in full.
LONG TERM STAYS over 30 days have a custom payment & cancellation policy.
We are unable to offer partial refunds for early departures. For peace of mind, we encourage you to purchase trip insurance. You can find some good choices online from www.TravelGuard.com <http://www.TravelGuard.com>
ACCOMMODATIONS INCLUDE: Basic kitchenware, a gas grill, a starter kit with dish soap, toilet tissue, shampoo & conditioner, hand soap, garbage bags and paper towels firewood. We provide firewood for the main firepit next to Cabin 4. Bath and kitchen towels and bed linens are included. Early May to Mid-October, rentals include one row boat and life jackets OR dockage for your own boat. ACCOMMODATIONS DO NOT INCLUDE: Daily housekeeping, consumables like charcoal, coffee or any toiletries except those noted above
AVAILABLE WITH ADDITIONAL FEE: Housekeeping services, Pontoon boats, outboard motors, tubes, fishing kayaks and other marina rentals. Highchairs and a crib are available for free on a first come first served basis.
BIG BOAT AND 9.9HP MOTOR RENTALS: Both weekly and daily boat rentals are available, however, priority goes to weekly rentals. If you want to guarantee a pontoon for your visit, we encourage you to rent for the full week. ALL boat/motor rentals carry a $100 prop/anchor/key/gas/damages deposit. This deposit will be refunded upon successful check-in of the boat at the end of the rental period, including the return of keys, less gas used or damages. Once you receive a confirmation that includes a boat rental in the folio, the SAME CANCELLATION POLICIES APPLY AS WITH A CABIN.
AT CHECKOUT: We have a very short transition window and a team effort in order to make our guest to guest transitions on time while giving you both the latest possible check out and the earliest possible check in. Please have your dishwasher started, trash out, beds stripped, towels in the shower/bath tub and the cabin in a general state of care.
